ACME Computer's Two Year  limited warranty is reproduced below.

Limited Desktop/Workstation System Warranty

ACME Computer systems are covered by this limited warranty.  ACME Computer warrants to the first purchaser that all hardware installed in a computer system built and sold by ACME Computer, as well as the keyboard and mouse will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The standard warranty term is one year beginning on the date of invoice.

The First & Second Year Standard Warranty Provides For Carry-In Warranty Service Only.

Second Year Covers Service/Labor Only, Customer Must Purchase All Parts

All Used Computers Have a 30 Day Service Only Warranty Unless System Is Sold As Is Or As A Parts Only Computer.

This warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, lightning strikes, servicing not provided by ACME Computer’s personnel, or problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by ACME Computer.  This warranty does not cover system failures caused by any items that are in one or more of the following categories: virus, software, computer operator error, or devices added by the customer to the computer system after the system is purchased .

In such cases, you will be responsible for the cost of repairs, should you choose to have ACME Computer repair your product.

To request warranty service, please call ACME Computer Services. at (207) 442-8567  from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday through Friday Eastern Time.  If you are shipping a product to ACME Computer Services, safely pack and return the product to ACME Computer Services, 560 Old Bath Rd, Brunswick,  ME 04011.  You must ship the product in its original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. ACME Computer will ship the repaired or replaced product to you freight prepaid to your address in the continental United States.

NOTE: Before you ship a computer to ACME Computer, back up the data on the hard drive and any other storage device in the computer. Remove any removable media, such as diskettes or CDs.  ACME Computer does not accept liability for lost data or software.

ACME Computer owns all parts removed from repaired computers. If ACME Computer repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended.

ACME COMPUTER MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS BEYOND THOSE STATED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ACME COMPUTER DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

ACME COMPUTER’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. THESE WARRANTIES GIVE YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

ACME COMPUTER DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT OR LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR SOFTWARE.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE PRECEDING EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
